Our Activities
Our consultancy model was created with the aim of overcoming the limitations of the classic purchasing model whereby the Customer is involved in the process of choosing the technology of a cooling system without adequate prior and objective thermal analysis.
The ThermoIQ Method involves two distinct and complementary counsulting phases, each of which aims to achieve a Significant Goal.

Purpose
At this stage the focus is on the problem. One focuses on the thermal analysis of the Customer's Thermal Management application.
The first activity is to collect the technical input data for the thermal analysis, which, depending on the area under consideration, may be as follows:
- Geometrical and construction characteristics of the switchboard, environmental conditions of the installation site, characteristics of the electronics inside the switchboard, etc. (Automation)
- Flow rate and temperature of the coolant, characteristics of the medical laser system or electromedical equipment to be cooled, power supply, etc. (Medical)
- Coolant flow rate and temperature, characteristics of the industrial laser system to be cooled, power supply, etc. (Industrial)
The technical input data collected allow our engineers to perform the preliminary thermal analysis in order to calculate the cooling power required by the specific application (cooling capacity).
Once the results of the preliminary thermal analysis are available in terms of the cooling capacity required by the specific application, our engineers are able to select the optimal cooling technology for the Client's project.
Significant Goal #1
Proper Sizing calculation
The significant goal of the technical consulting phase is to calculate the Proper Sizing, or preliminary thermal sizing, in terms of cooling capacity, needed to select the cooling technology to be used in the specific project.
Procurement Consulting
Purpose
This consulting phase focuses on identifying the optimal delivery solution for the specific project.
Its success is based on the goodness of the work done in the previous technical consultancy phase.
Our technology choices for cooling and temperature control solutions are derived from technical considerations resulting from prior and objective thermal analysis.
- Careful selection of the Technology Partner
- No exclusivity obligations with Partners
We believe in specialization of know-how and search the market for innovative Partner companies that can realize and provide the optimal solution for the Client's specific problem.
- Ongoing search for Technology Partners
- Collaborations with the world of R&D
We ensure that the client is provided with the optimal solution with a focus on medium/long-term scenarios, trying to assess in advance:
- Possible price and/or supply time increases due to raw material shortages
- Potential phase-out risks of critical components
- Possible increases in logistics and transportation operating costs.
Significant Goal #2
Implementing Smart Purchase
The existence of the three guiding principles allows us to implement what we call Smart Purchase in order to identify the most appropriate delivery solution for the specific project.
The Three Elements of Smart Purchase
1. Context
This requirement is guaranteed in our model by the technical consultancy phase which aims to calculate theProper Sizing.
1. Context
This requirement is guaranteed in our model by the technical consultancy phase which has as its objective the definition ofProper Sizing.
2. Batch
This information allows correct planning of the supply, its production sustainability and also ensures the Customer the best economic conditions.
2. Batch
These conditions allow correct planning of the supply, its practical sustainability and also ensure the best contractual and economic conditions for the end customer.
3. Solution & Partner
This is the last element which, together with the two previous elements, allows us to successfully conclude our Smart technological procurement.
3. Solution & Partner
This is the last requirement which, together with the previous two, allows you to conclude a technical purchase made in a strategic and intelligent manner.
The Final Result
=
High Performance Cooling Solution
Cost and Project Schedule Optimization
